If so, you should consider the Spring Into Health Program!!  You will commit to 20 days (5 weekdays in a row, 2 weekend days off) of eating whole, organic fruits, vegetables, chicken, fish and nuts. You will be drinking herbal teas, protein shakes and hydrating beverages. 

Supplements may include vitamins, minerals, probiotics and green products.  You will gently cleanse your body, mind and spirit!  You will be given a choice of purchasing/preparing your own foods or (for an additional fee) having all your foods/beverages prepared and merely picking them up! 
 
The program fee includes a one-hour individual consultation prior to the start of the program to discuss your specific goals and food preferences.  During your consultation, we will also take beginning photos, body weight and measurements, calculate body fat & body mass index.  I will give you suggestions to help you prepare for a smooth transition into the program.

It also includes 6 group meetings of 1 – 1 ½ hours.  You will receive a food plan for each week, recipes and a daily e-mail discussing a nutrition topic and a stress management topic.  
After introductions at our first group meeting, we will discuss the following subjects:  the bodily changes that may occur during the program, the importance of exercise, meditation, journaling or audio recording, skin care techniques for cleansing and rejuvenation and how we will work together to ensure our success as a group.

The program introduction begins on Monday, April 26th at 7:30 p.m.  During this meeting, you will receive a shopping list and menus for the program.  You will spend the next week preparing and begin the program on the morning of Monday, May 3rd.

What will I eat during the Spring Into Health Program?

Lots of hydrating beverages including water, herbal teas & protein shakes.  Your will be eating plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, lean proteins & whole grains.
  There is no limit to the amount you may eat.  It is very important to drink lots of beverages.  They will keep you hydrated and assist in the cleansing process. 

What are the other components of the program?
There will be some supplementation with vitamins, minerals, probiotics and green foods.
· There will be a lecture component via e-mail each day.  Some topics of discussion will be the Principles of food combining, strategies for eating out, eliminating caffeine, alcohol and other substances.  The healing properties of the foods we are eating will be discussed.
· We will discuss skincare and stress reduction strategies, the use of steam, sauna, essential oils, dry skin brushing and other body care techniques.
· We will address the importance of exercise and learn some exercises to get started.
· We will learn some meditation and breathwork techniques.
· We will learn about and try journaling or recording our thoughts as we go through the cleansing process together.
· We may have guest speakers come to our Saturday meetings. 

How do I prepare for the program?
· You could start to do some journaling or audio recording now…..Write down or record an audio tape describing what you are currently eating and how you feel afterwards.  You may want to explore your goals and notice why you want to take part in the program.
· You could start to cut down on caffeine, alcohol and any other substances that you would like to reduce or eliminate during the program.
· Focus on your breathing and begin to notice how it changes throughout the day.
· Start thinking about an exercise program, an activity that you would enjoy (walking is fine), and how it would fit into your schedule.
